1) Pick a theme for your child's room. It is much easier to
decorate around a theme. Choose your theme from a piece of
wallpaper, comforter, painting, etc.
2) Take one color from your inspiration piece to paint the
walls, a light shade to paint the ceiling and a third color
as an accent color for accessories.
3) Choose fun accessories to carry out the theme in the room.
For example, if you choose a garden themed room, use a flower
lamp and a silver gardening bucket to hold toys. Use an old
wooden rake as a peg rack to hold play garden tools, or your
child's clothes.
4) Choose the color of the carpet according to the theme.
